MINERAL FERTILIZERS

Mineral fertilizers are inorganic compounds that contain nutrients necessary for plants, nutrients in mineral fertilizers are present in the form of various mineral salts. Being in the phase of active growth, plants absorb almost all nutrients from the soil, which leads to its depletion. And the more productive the variety or hybrid, the more minerals and organic substances it needs. The use of mineral fertilizers allows to saturate the soil with nutrients in the shortest possible time, stimulates the development of bacteria in the soil. These bacteria improve nitrogen fixation, phosphate mobilization and other soil properties, however, unlike Freya brand organic-mineral fertilizers, mineral fertilizers do not solve the problems of restoring and increasing soil fertility.

Types of mineral fertilizers

Depending on the nutrients, fertilizers are divided into simple and complex. Simple mineral fertilizers directly contain only one plant nutrient – N, P, K, Mg, B, Cu, Mn, etc.. Complex mineral fertilizers are based on simple mineral fertilizers and contain additional one or more plant nutrients. The most common complex mineral fertilizers in which the basic component is nitrogen (nitrogen fertilizers), potassium (potassium fertilizers), phosphorus (phosphorus fertilizers), microfertilizers.

The “Freya” Company Group offers simple and complex mineral fertilizers from domestic and foreign manufacturers:

Ammonium nitrate

Universal nitrogen fertilizer containing 34.4% nitrogen. Suitable for any type of soil and crops. Use: basic (pre-sowing) application or periodic top usage.

Сarbamide urea

A weakly hygroscopic, easily spreadable and soluble fertilizer with a mass nitrogen content of 46.0% (in organic amide form). Needs wrapping. Suitable for feeding various plants, foliar feeding.

Ammonium sulfate

The main active substances are nitrogen (20.5-21%) and sulfur (23-24%). Suitable for neutral and saline soils. It is used during the main cultivation. It’s also used for early spring fertilizing of winter crops.

Potassium chloride

Up to 60% of the composition is potassium oxide. It is produced in the form of granules or small grains. It is used for root nutrition. Such mineral fertilizers should be bought for feeding sunflowers, sugar beets, and fruit crops.

Lime-ammonium nitrate

Contains 25-28% nitrogen and 18-34% carbonates, suitable for any crops. It is most effective on acidic soils. Calcium carbonate can neutralize the acidity of ammonium sulfate. In terms of physical and chemical parameters, it is significantly superior to ammonium nitrate.

Calimagnesia

It consists of 28% potassium, 9% magnesium oxide and about 15% chlorine. Intended for feeding grain, vegetable, industrial crops, fruit trees, berry bushes. It is most effective on sod-podzolic soils of a light grain composition.

Ammophos ammonium

Has 11% nitrogen and 44-52% phosphorus: no ballast substances. Universal type of mineral fertilizers for pre-sowing and main application. Suitable for any crops.

Diamophos

It has 18% nitrogen and 46% phosphorus. It dissolves well in water. It is used in the same way as amophos.

Sulfoamophos

Universal soluble fertilizer. It consists of 14% nitrogen, 34% phosphorus oxide, 8% sulfur, 0.5% each of calcium and magnesium. It is most often used for rapeseed, sunflower, soybean.

DAP

It has 10% nitrogen, 26% phosphorus, 26% potassium. Universal, economic fertilizer, can be used to prepare fat mixtures. It is especially useful for peat soils.

NPK

Compound fertilizer based on nitroammophos with the addition of potassium chloride or sulfate. Intended for basic nutrition and periodic soil fertilization.

Kalimag-30

It consists of 18-20% potassium oxide, 8-9% magnesium oxide, up to 8% chlorine. It is obtained by enriching natural kainite.
Please note: most products are always in stock and are shipped immediately after the order is placed and the payment is made. But, in some cases and when buying large volumes, it will be necessary to wait a few days.

Mineral fertilizers effect:

Mineral fertilizers are able to:

  • to accelerate the growth of plants and their yield;
  • increase the efficiency of photosynthesis;
  • increase the number of growth points;
  • protect plants from diseases;
  • increase the drought resistance of plants.

Simultaneous application of Freya® mineral and humic fertilizers is recommended. As a result, mineral components are better absorbed by plants, which allows to reduce the amount of applied fertilizers by almost 50%. This gives quite significant material savings.

The method of using mineral fertilizers

All mineral fertilizers presented in the price list are ready for use. To calculate the optimal application dose, the condition of the soil, the type of culture being grown, and the desired yield should be taken into account. It can be used both independently and in combination with Freya® organo-mineral fertilizers.

More detailed information on the features of selection, use of mineral fertilizers and their prices can be obtained from the price list, company managers and by phone   +38 067 538-23-74  +38 067 214-09-86 or by sending a request to  freya.trade.ck@gmail.com

To achieve the optimal effect, different mineral fertilizers can be applied simultaneously. However, you have to be careful, there are some fertilizers that should not be added together to prevent unwanted chemical reactions. Next, we provide a table of compatibility of various mineral fertilizers.
